I have the following "test" site for a client: http://lizmcreations.com/library1/ -- the slider on the homepage is the genesis responsive slider.
They'd like to have a slider on some of the other pages (like one for the children's page) ---- I'd like the simplicity of the "Genesis Responsive Slider" -- so that they can just set the post category that belongs in the slider, rather than having to create the posts and then also add them to the slider ---- the fewer the steps/the easier the better.
Is it possible to have multiple Genesis Responsive Sliders on the site ---- or does anyone know of another responsive slider that would function the same way (where it can pull the content for the slider from a post category)?
Thank you!!!

The point is for the content to not have to be placed in multiple places - so it doesn't need to be written as a post AND then also created as a slide ...
Any other sliders out there that anyone knows of that will do that?

It also provides the ability to add sliders via shortcode or script functions.
I had to research sliders recently because the Simple Slider was one of the slowest loading plugins on one of my clients sites and we needed to trim fat in all areas. After reading a ton of reviews and test results, I chose Soliloquy because of its flexibility and the fact that it is one of the two fastest loading sliders I could find. Can't remember the other one but Soliloquy seemed more flexible.
I have also had to contact Soliloquy with questions and I have to say they have been very responsive and friendly.
Not sure if I am allowed to post links so my appologies if I shouldn't do this but, read about it here:

Anyway, go to the Soliloquy website and look for advanced add-ons. Scroll to click on Featured Content Add-On.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info, that is very helpful!

The free version of Soliloquy and the Lite version of Easing slider enable you to create multiple sliders.
July 19, 2014 at 3:44 pm #114972Titanium CreativeMemberBrad, that's true but she was talking about the Featured Post aspect of it. the developers license adds that functionality as well as several others like Internal CSS editing and Scheduling.
