    Hi,

    If I add a 403 Forbidden directive to my htaccess file, like this:

    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_METHOD} =POST
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http://(.*)?.example.com [NC]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/wp-login\.php(.*)$ [OR]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/wp-admin$
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ - [F]
    </IfModule>

    … does Genesis intercept this? The HTTP response I’m seeing is 404 Not Found, not the expected 403 – Forbidden.

    Also, if you have an opinion on that bit of mod_rewrite code, I’m all ears. It’s supposed to block automated bot access to the admin panel.
