1. Would you know how I can remove the shadow that is showing at the bottom of the background image- there is only one image in the media file, Thank you2. The images on the test site http://blogfromthebeach.com are rectangular and using the same style sheet and functions file they are square- this is the code I have
//* Add new image sizes
add_image_size('grid-thumbnail', 536, 150, TRUE);
add_image_size('single-thumbnail', 720, 250, TRUE);add_action ( 'genesis_entry_header', 'sk_show_featured_image_home' );
function sk_show_featured_image_home() {
if ( is_front_page() && has_post_thumbnail() ) {
echo '<div class="home-thumbnail">' . '';
genesis_image( array( 'size' => 'grid-thumbnail' ) );
echo '</div>';
}
}

I don't see any shadow (can you take a screenshot?) but are you talking about the way the image on the homepage is kind of duplicating itself? I'm seeing that - it looks like the background image isn't quite wide enough for the space.
2. Install the plugin Regenerate Thumbnails. Once you activate it, go to Tools > Regenerate Thumbnails and run the tool. It will resize your grid images to the grid thumbnail size instead of the regular thumbnails you're seeing now.

1. yes it is duplictaing I think and the image is the correct size?
2. Unfortunately that then took out my side bar with the regenerate thumbnails- I just did a few not the lot is there a way to reverse this ? I want to have the sidebar widget showing, thanksNovember 18, 2013 at 10:19 am #73953nutsandboltsMemberIt's difficult to tell what's causing the image issue without being able to see the backend of the site. The div is taller than the image itself, but I'm not sure why.
I'm not sure I'm understanding re: the sidebar - it's showing up fine for me. Am I missing something?
