Hi everyone, I'm trying to remove the gray box on the enews widget and I can't figure out how to do it. I've tried to change the color to white and nothing changed. I've tried "box-shadow: none;" and that didn't work. What am I missing?
I want it to have a title, box for name, box for email, submit button (colored)
Thank you!

.sidebar .enews-widget { background-color: #333; }

February 7, 2014 at 1:07 pm #89177nutsandboltsMemberNot to be a jerk, but did you save? I still see the background color as #333 in your stylesheet.

hmm....
February 7, 2014 at 1:12 pm #89179nutsandboltsMemberSince the CSS rule I pasted above already exists in the stylesheet, the first one is overriding your new one. Instead of adding a new rule, search the other one and change it - that will make it work.

.enews-widget {
background-color: #686868;
}clearly not the correct one. I got it now. Thanks.
Note to self, don't do this at your day job!
February 7, 2014 at 1:14 pm #89181nutsandboltsMemberIt happens to the best of us! I've spent HOURS of my life trying to get something to work, only to realize I left out a semicolon or something.

April 15, 2014 at 9:05 pm #100617gojosemMemberHello,
I'm using magazine pro 3.0.1 and eNews Extended 1.4.0. The theme color is set to green and I would like to set a specific green (brand color) for the subscribe button (background #9dc403 and background hover #638c01).
I have not experience with html / css but I had luck changing the button background color to #9dc403 but I have no luck with the background hover color (it still been white).
I have tried this:
.magazine-pro-green .button:hover {
color: #638c01;
}
but it doesn't work.Please, note that although I'm talking about the button of eNews, what I really want is to set the specific green for the whole theme and plugins.
Thanks in advance for your valuable support,
Regards,

.magazine-pro-blue .enews-widget input:hover[type="submit"], .magazine-pro-green .enews-widget input:hover[type="submit"], .magazine-pro-orange .enews-widget input:hover[type="submit"] { background-color: #fff; }
and change it to this:
.magazine-pro-blue .enews-widget input:hover[type="submit"], .magazine-pro-green .enews-widget input:hover[type="submit"], .magazine-pro-orange .enews-widget input:hover[type="submit"] { background-color: #638c01; color: #fff; }
That will give you the correct hover color with the text remaining white.
