I'm having trouble selecting the page layout for a specific page. Link below. The default layout radial button is selected and I'm unable to de-select it. I would like to have this page at full width and not two column. Please help.

(If you hover over the Edit link on the page, the URL that shows at the bottom of your browser will have a number ID in it). I can write a function that will *hopefully* force full width on that page.

Thanks.
December 11, 2013 at 6:10 pm #78454nutsandboltsMemberYep, that's it! Try adding this to functions.php to see if it will work:
// Force full width content on page add_filter( 'genesis_pre_get_option_site_layout', 'nabm_force_layout' ); function nabm_force_layout( $opt ) { if ( is_page( 437 ) ) { $opt = 'full-width-content'; return $opt; } }

December 12, 2013 at 4:07 pm #78644licenseguruMemberHi Andrea,
I entered the code into the functions.php file and uploaded it, but it didn't change the page. Did I do something incorrectly?
December 12, 2013 at 4:14 pm #78646nutsandboltsMemberHmmm... If there's no error, that's a plus, but obviously we want it working. Try this one instead and let me know:
// Force full width content on page add_filter( 'genesis_pre_get_option_site_layout', 'nabm_force_layout' ); function nabm_force_layout( $opt ) { if ( is_page( '437' ) ) { $opt = 'full-width-content'; return $opt; } }

December 12, 2013 at 4:28 pm #78654nutsandboltsMemberIt shouldn't matter where it goes. I'm thinking...

<?php /* * Template Name: Full Width Page */ /** Force full width layout */ add_filter( 'genesis_pre_get_option_site_layout', '__genesis_return_full_width_content' ); genesis();
Then edit the page and look for the Page Attributes box on the right (somewhere under the Publish/Update button). There is a dropdown to select the page template and you'll see Full Width Page as one of the choices. Choose that, save, and it should force full width.
