    Hey guys,

    On the generate theme demo the post images on the homepage are placed horizontally above the text of each post.

    On my installed generate theme the post images on my homepage are aligned to the left with the text jumbled up on the right-hand side of the images. How do I adjust my post images so that they display on the homepage above the post text, like the demo generate theme?

    Thanks!

    Jason

    Hello,

    Are you looking for something like this?

    https://www.diigo.com/item/image/40chg/2kec

    If so, there is a rule in your style.css that is overriding the right margin of your post images;

    /* line ~1307 */
    .post-image {
    	border: 0;
    	margin: 0 0 30px -40px !important;
    	padding: 0;
    	max-width: none !important;
    }

    You will want to change the right margin to something like this;

    /* line ~1307 */
    .post-image {
    	border: 0;
    	margin: 0 15px 30px -40px !important; /* add 15px right margin */
    	padding: 0;
    	max-width: none !important;
    }

    I hope this helps.

    Hi Ryan,

    Thanks for your reply. The look I’m trying to achieve is the same as the generate theme demo page below:

    http://demo.studiopress.com/generate/

    I would like the post images above the text.

    Cheers,

    Jason

    Jason,

    I understand. It looks like your theme is using the genesis_grid_loop(). Is your home page using a page template? Would you be able to post the code or at least send it to me? I think it will just be some argument modifications for the genesis_grid_loop().

    Let me know.

    Hi Ryan,

    I’m not really technically inclined, so I’m not quite sure which code you’re referring to. I can tell you that I’m running the Genesis framework with the Generate theme activated if that helps.
