    I am having an issue with the Genesis Featured Page Widget on my Metric Theme site. The “more text” function is creating a jumbo green button the width of the widget area.

    I’d greatly appreciate some insight as to why this is happening and how to resolve this issue.

    Thanks in advance for your assistance in this matter,

    Look for this in your Style.css and change the width of 195 to about 75.

    [css]
    #home-top .more-link {
    background: url("images/read-more.png") repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
    color: #FFFFFF;
    display: block;
    font-size: 14px;
    font-weight: bold;
    line-height: 35px;
    margin: 0;
    padding: 0 15px;
    text-decoration: none;
    text-shadow: 1px 1px #436D04;
    width: 195px;
    }[/css]

    Thank you!  I just noticed something else that doesn’t work properly.  When you click on the button, you should land at the area of text just after the word count set for the widget.  Mine just takes you to the top of the page.

    Did you follow the instructions and use the “More” tag?
