Hi – I have the Crave theme – and installed the Genesis Resposive Slider.

I added the widget to the Home Top area – and set it to Posts (as per the instructions here: http://my.studiopress.com/themes/crave/#demo-full )

However, only my home page shows – no slider.

Can anyone please help me get to the bottom of this? Are there any more specific instructions on setting it up?

    All the best, Mark

    Hi Mark,

Perhaps these instructions will help you out:

Hi – thank you for that Stefanie.

Those instructions were helpful, but the slider still won’t appear in my Home-top page.

When I go to Appearance -> Widgets – I only see:

    Primary Sidebar
    Home Top
    Home Middle
    Home Bottom

…I don’t have Home – Slider as shown in the video you pointed me to.

I have dragged the Genesis – Responsive Slider widget into all of the page parts mentioned above – and it does show in the Primary Sidebar – just not on any of the Home parts.

Thanks again for your help, and any other suggestions.

    Mark

Put it in home top and make sure you didn’t select a static page for the homepage. You can change this at: Administration > Settings > Reading

Hi Jones – thank you – that did it.

However, now instead of text I want to show under the slider – it’s showing blog posts.

Is there no way to have the slider and specific content I want to show?

    All the best, Mark

Never mind – figured it out – by adding a text widget to Home Middle – it overrides the blog posts.

Thanks again to you both for your help,

    Mark
