    Hi All,

    I enabled Disqus comments on my blog. However, I see that once I do that, the comments area gets attached to the footer area (Ideally there should be a gap). I tried tweaking some code but was not successful. I’d be happy if anyone could provide some guidance. My blog: saikrishnakorivi.com.

    In #disqus_thread change margin-bottom: -10px; to margin-bottom: 40px; margin-bottom: 4rem;

    Best,
    Lauren

    Hi Lauren,

    Thanks for your response. Looks like I already have it at 40px and 4rem. Below is how I have it. I do not see any change. Am I missing something?

    .entry, #disqus_thread {
    background-color: #fff;
    -webkit-box-shadow: 10px 10px 0px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2);
    -moz-box-shadow: 10px 10px 0px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2);
    box-shadow: 10px 10px 0px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2);
    margin-bottom: 40px;
    margin-bottom: 4rem;
    overflow: hidden;
    padding: 8%;
    position: relative;
    width: 100%;

    Fair point. That’s being over written by a file: http://saikrishnakorivi.com/?custom-css=1&csblog=1&cscache=6&csrev=182

    You could also increase specificity. .entry, .content #disqus_thread

    Hi Lauren,

    I’m sorry, I didn’t quite follow. What are you referring to?

    The easiest way for you to add margin is to change

    .entry, #disqus_thread

    to

    .entry, .content #disqus_thread

    Hi Lauren,

    Thank you very much. It’s fixed.
