    I seemed to have backed myself into a corner. I’m using the Sample Child template version 1.8 for http://www.fcre.com, and everything looks the way the client needs it to look on the pages except for the home page. The home page needs to have the white space around the main content removed (no padding), but on the interior pages that white space needs to remain.

    How can I accomplish this?

    You should add the following to your style.css file:

    .home #content {
    padding: 0;
    }
    .home .sidebar-content #content {
    width: 750px;
    }

    That will remove the padding on the home page only and increase the width of the content div to make up for it.

    Thanks Chris. That put me on the right track. The actual code that worked was:

    .home #content {
    padding: 0;
    width: 750px;
    }

    I appreciate your help with this!
