I have a client who would like the first post on the Blog page to show the full post, and the rest of the posts under it to show a content limit?

I’m not sure how to accomplish this.  Anyone have any input?

Looking at your site, it appears you have the Featured Posts widget in that area with 1 post showing. If you only want the 1 post to show there, in the setting of the widget you should select SHOW CONTENT.

I’m don’t mean on the home page, I mean on the blog page at http://mark-abbott.com/small-business-development/ which is displaying using the StudioPress blog page template.

    The home page is widgeted.

If you are using the Blog page template, that cannot be done. You will need to create a new blog page template and configure it as such which is customized service.

Any pointers as to how to go about that?  Which functions would need to be redefined?

An alternative route for me would be to map the behavior of ignoring the More tag to a certain category.  Would that be a preferred direction?  If so, any pointers on how to go about that would also be appreciated.

The site I where I would use this is https://mkpereport.com.
