Hello, I want to add a slider on the home page of http://www.divasclosetsinatlanta.com. I would like it to only go partially across the page somewhat like you see the blog post photo that appears on the site right now. Can someone explain how to add a slider? I’m not a newbie but I REALLY wouldn’t call myself experienced either so please share the simple version. Thanks :-)

Follow these instructions, modifying as appropriate for your theme:

Once you have the widget area created, you can add a slider.

    Hi

Can’t access that domain for some reason.

You can create a new widget area and use the Genesis Responsive Slider widget or hook a different slider in directly.

    Both require PHP code:

Please copy the code from the view raw link and paste it at the end of your child themes functions.php file using a text editor like Notepad++

This code hooks in the Easing slider. You will need to install the plugin and add images to it as well.

This code creates a new widget area before the loop on the home page for use with any slider.
