The new HTML5 output creates a visual issue with widgets.
I have widgets that I use to display page (standard page) with its featured image.
In the new HTML structure, there is a new Div element as the child of the Article element.
This Div has the “entry-content” as its css class.
The new div (actually it’s the class…it has “oferflow: hidden” in the theme style.css) causes the text not to wrap below/around the image as it did before.
Is this intended behavior or a bug that needs to be fixed somehow (changes in the css or in the HTML) ?
Please post a link to your website so we can see what you are working with. Also, have you reviewed this – http://my.studiopress.com/docs/genesis-markup-comparison/?
I have reviewed the comparison.
Another one – check the widget at the side menu:
To soften this issue, I have shortened the text…but longer text results in a long narrow text column next to the image.
