Launched http://www.tylliebarbosa.com yesterday. This is a custom theme for a photography client.

March 7, 2013 at 6:58 am #24762Very, very nice website. I love how clean and minimalist it is.
The name with the two tone black/blue its great.
My only comment is, does Genesis provide a way for galleries to load on without refreshing the entire page? or does it have to be via plugin and js?
I struggled on my portfolio to make it in a way that if someone clicks on a small image it will load, then on the next page just like you have with the larger image while clicking left or right loads the next images without refreshing the entire page. (not sure if I explain this correctly)
Bottom line AWESOME page
March 7, 2013 at 12:51 pm #24820It was a fun design to work on. As far as the galleries, it’s a bit of a pain, but that’s what the client wanted. They were not interested in a lightbox solution for the larger images.
I had seen a plugin that does an ajax reload of part of the page, but I did not test it to see if it might improve the page load time. I may dig into that at some point.
Thanks for the kind words!

March 7, 2013 at 5:48 pm #24892@nglstudios I think the native gallery with Jetapacks Carousel works really well as its made by Automattic and you can use the Carousel without installing Jetpack as well.
Once the gallery is loaded you can view all images in the gallery.

It does a great job of simply offering lightbox to native images. Instead of having to head to another page. There are a number of plugins available to make things work. Nothing to really do it without a plugin / js.
