Hi guys,
I am still having a little trouble sorting a few mobile responsiveness issues for my Parallax theme site.
I would love any insights into the following as I have spent a fair bit of time now in the CSS and using Firebug to try and see the problem....to no avail, getting really frustrated now.
Key Mobile Responsiveness issues are (I am using an iphone 5):
1/ The Top Nav Menu is not displaying the menu headers that are present on the desktop version. Not sure why I can't see them?
2/ Is it possible to move that Top Nav on the mobile up further more inline with the logo?
3/ Would like the primary nav on the mobile not to have that gap between the header/top nav and the primary nav - as it shows Widget area 1 in the gap, I don't want a gap but again can't seem to crack the right CSS placement!
4/ The Primary Nav sub menu's do not appear to be scrollable....could be because of the fixed position of that nav though, however I can't access some of the menu items as it wont allow any scrolling down on the nav.
5/ Home Page Widget areas - Either the margins or paddings are out as all of the text does not show and the background images are not responsive, again I have tried numerous times to locate with firebug to no avail.
If there is anything from an obvious mobile responsiveness setting that you recommend after seeing it by all means let me know.
Thanks

SamFebruary 2, 2015 at 7:26 am #139382CarloMemberHi Sam. That’s a lot of help you’re asking for, for free! I’ll help you out with one issue if you let me know which one is the most urgent. Anything beyond that will cost you, as my time is valuable.
Out of curiosity, if it frustrates you so much, why are you trying to do it all yourself, instead of just paying a developer and allowing yourself to focus on your business?

Firstly, I appreciate your (and other members here) time greatly. Yes there are a few questions there, however I thought that they might provide context for the overall picture, that being the mobile responsive experience is troubling me to fix.
Out of the list probably No. 1 or 3 would kick me off in the right direction I think.
I am only doing this as a favour for a friend, as I have built a couple of sites, so she has come to me for some help on it, so am trying to fix what I can. However yes if it becomes more complex I will be getting someone else to help (pay for I mean).
I am generally ok, just get stuck sometimes locating the actual issue in the CSS.
Thanks for your help.
If I can't post questions for help on the forum of the theme installed where else can I go then? I don't expect 20 responses, I post them because I know there are a lot of experienced developers on here who have probably seen the same questions before and are able to quickly answer one or two of them.
I have already received responses on other questions, so again, I am super thankful for the answers you can get on this forum.
