    Hi

I’m a noob on genesis but have managed to create a child theme based on the “sample” child theme from the tutorial area.

What I’m struggling with is creating a single post template where I can manipulate the html and css classes that appear on the post.

to get around this I’ve installed a Custom Post Template plug in which allows me to allocate a “page template” php file on a per post basis.

This works but it relies on someone choosing the right template which I’d rather avoid.

Is there an in depth example of how to do this? I think I need to do the template thing in the Function.php file but have been flumoxed by that whole process.

    HELP! HELP! Please HELP…

    :)
