Hello,
Maybe I”ll post this here. I have posted it under “Tips…” and no one has responded. http://www.studiopress.com/forums/topic/next-page-for-more-content/
Maybe I’ll have better luck here. Can someone PLEASE tell me how I can set up my home page so that people are able to read older blog posts? I’m hoping that at the near bottow, after all my posts that there be an indication like “Page 1, “Page 2,etc…” or “Read Later Posts” or something that people can click and it will take them to another section where they can read more blog posts. My website – http://nwsuburbschicago.com.
Anyone? Please HELP!
Thanks!!
Jocelyn
January 20, 2013 at 1:22 pm #13307Disclaimer: I do not own the Innov8tive theme, so can’t test on my own site:
Because your home page is not set up as a blog page, it’s not automatically giving users the option to see older “blog” posts. To do that automatically, the user would have to be on the blog page.
See demo here: http://www.innov8tive.eightcrazydesigns.com/templates/blog/
However, in setting up the widgets, you could select “Show Category Archive Link”, and that will allow users to see more posts in that category. (See widget set up from demo)
This may not be the solution you are looking for, but wanted to offer you an option…

I’ve taken up the challenge! – help me answer some of the unanswered postsJanuary 20, 2013 at 2:13 pm #13318Hello Susan!
I appreciate your prompt response. I did as you said by selecting “Show Category Archive Link”…but that didn’t do anything. Where should I see that? Am I missing a step?
Thanks!

January 20, 2013 at 4:13 pm #13347Jocelyn – I’m not sure why it’s not working – you shouldn’t have to do anything else, *but*, while I was searching for a solution, I came across another suggestion which might work for you. This one was from Nick, our forum “key master”
You can try using my Genesis Featured Widget Amplified plugin, which will work with pagination.
