    Hi,

I am trying to remove the Filed Under on the summary of each blog. See:

    Thanks

    Try one of these snippets:

    Hi,

I’m having the same problem. When I go to your link for the snippets, there are two. Do I place both into the funtions php file? Also, it says don’t copy the first php tag. What is that?

    Thank you,

    Andrew

You would only use one snippet. One is to remove the post meta completely; the other is to modify it.

There is no opening php tag in either of those snippets, so just ignore that comment.

I’ve been trying to do this to, simply to modify the “Filed Under” text to something else. It’s the one part about Geneis that I find positively infuriatingly difficult. To do some simple things takes forever to figure out and requires finding snippets that don’t always spell out what to do. That page doesn’t seem to provide a clear way to remove just the words or how to change them. Hopefully someone can provide that information and it would help to update the snippet database. Otherwise, genesis is truly fantastic in many ways.
