    There isn’t a good way to do this. The only way is to remove the genesis_grid_loop_content action and build your own. You can see the existing action in the genesis/lib/structure/loops.php file as an example of the code you will use. For details on how to unhook and build your own actions please see my Genesis Explained series.

    Hi, I have a grid loop set up with the plugin Genesis Grid and want to remove the image link as well. I used the following code and it works except that there is the word “grid” just above each image. How can I remove that?

    /** Remove the link from the post featured image */
    remove_action(‘genesis_post_content’, ‘genesis_do_post_image’);
    add_action(‘genesis_post_content’, ‘child_do_post_image’, 5);

    function child_do_post_image() {

    if ( !is_singular() && genesis_get_option(‘content_archive_thumbnail’) ) {
    genesis_image( array( ‘format’ => ‘html’, ‘size’ => genesis_option(‘image_size’), ‘attr’ => array( ‘class’ => ‘alignleft post-image’ ) ) );
    }
    }

    Thanks,

    Amy
