    Hello,

    I need help regarding my Eleven4o theme.

    My attempt is:

    I want to remove all post title on single posts, but want to keep the post title on the list of articles in the homepage.

    I have tried this code snippets:

    /** Custom post titles */
    remove_action( ‘genesis_post_title’,’genesis_do_post_title’ );

    It actually remove the post titles on single posts, but also on the homepage, which I don’t want to happen.

    Now I removed the snippets and returned the site to its original.

    Please share me your insight to do this correctly.

    Thank you

    Per this thread: http://www.studiopress.com/forums/topic/blog-post-titles/, have you tried the Genesis toggle title? It might be easier to use.

    Hello Susan,

    Thanks for your reply.

    Yes, i have tried that plugin, but it removed the page title, not post title.

    Is this right or there are certain settings I need to know with the plugin?

    I haven’t used the plug-in myself, but from this other thread: http://www.studiopress.com/forums/topic/how-to-get-rid-of-page-titles/:

    Thanks for the recommendation, but this plugin doesn’t seem to disable individual blog post entries titles. I have all other pages diabled but all I need now is to get blog post titles disabled.

    the response was:

    Yes, it does. If you don’t see it on the blog page – click the Support tab at the top and make sure there is a checkmark in the box. But it does do it on a per blog basis.

    So, if that doesn’t work for you, try this link:

    http://e-business.ie/blog/remove-post-title-from-pages-on-wordpress-wgenesis-theme-framework/

    There is a recommendation that uses the code snippet you posted, but goes further.

    Hi Susan,

    I have visited that site before and try this code:

    //REMOVE PAGE TITLE FROM ABOUT US PAGE
    add_action(‘genesis_before’, ‘child_conditional_actions’);
    function child_conditional_actions() {
    if(is_page(‘about-us’ ))
    remove_action(‘genesis_post_title’, ‘genesis_do_post_title’);
    }

    But since that above code to deal with about us page, I change it a little bit to a code that I
    think will work for my purposes:

    //REMOVE PAGE TITLE FROM ABOUT US PAGE
    add_action(‘genesis_before’, ‘child_conditional_actions’);
    function child_conditional_actions() {
    if(is_single())
    remove_action(‘genesis_post_title’, ‘genesis_do_post_title’);
    }

    But it didn’t work.

    Do you have suggestions about editing the code?

    Please let me know.
