I love Genesis and have only had it a week, but I see why people love it. But, I've finally hit a roadblock with my limited knowledge of coding. I have found coding that will enable a slider to go in a widget above my content, thereby creating a separate box between my secondary nav bar and content. My silder ppics are only 615x300 and will not fill the width of the page. What I am trying to do is place a slider within the content, located directly above my latest blog post. (see at http://www.mamamouse.com). I am using the Genesis Sample as my child theme.
If I cannot put a slider there, could you tell me how to use the widget box above the content to place individual recent post thumbnail images with links side by side in the area?
Thanks so muchhttp://www.mamamouse.com

Awesome! Thank you so much. I have been looking at your tutorials and learning so much. One quick question. Is there a way to center the slider in that widget? Thank you again!
