Can someone please tell me what plugin and/or method was used to place the social sharing icons at the top and bottom of the following post?:
When I view source code, it seems (unsurprisingly) that the ‘simple social icons’ plugin is at work here. But I’m unaware how to get it to look and behave like what we see here on this post.
Can someone please enlighten me? Thanks.http://www.copyblogger.com/ocdc/
They are using customized version. You can also check this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/floating-social-bar/
Can any of us get our hands on that customized version? It’s pretty slick.
PS: thanks for the tip re: https://wordpress.org/plugins/floating-social-bar/
I’d love to use those as well. They’re awesome. As far as I can tell, they’re based on Sharre. Google it and you’ll find the project web page, but it appears to be abandoned.
Lots of Genesis-related tutorials at TheHobbyBlogger.
Aren’t they using the new Genesis Simple Share plugin that’s currently being beta-tested?
dannybrown: can you provide a link to the ‘new Genesis Simple Share plugin’ you mentioned above?
When I do a Google search, I come up with this: Simple Share Buttons Adder
Pretty nifty, but not likely the same one you mean.
Not sure if there’s a link, I’d seen it mentioned on Brian Gardner’s Facebook profile when sharing the design he’d just set live for the Becoming Minimalist site, and he confirmed it was the new plugin Studiopress was beta-testing at the moment.
