    I use the eleven40 pro theme
    On some posts – with no special template, no use – I want to be able to change the styling of one specific paragraph, inclusive margins, color of fonts.

    I thought about adding some new format in the style.css file of my child theme, but it seems it’s not the way to do it.

    Can someone explain me how I should do that ?

    Thanks

    You can use pre-defined styles like <i> </i> for italics <quote> or use <small> </small>

    But styling using above will be limited. Using custom classes is more refined option. Like define new class in style.css file

    .styleone {
    font-size:10px;
    margin:10px 20px;
    }

    and use it in your post contents while in html mode in this format.

    <div class=”styleone”>your text</div>
