I just purchased the Genesis Framework with the Lifestyle Child Theme about 3 weeks ago. Love it, but I’m ready to chuck my computer at the wall.

This has to be a simple fix, but I can’t figure this out.

How do I create a full width header and footer for my website?

    Thanks for the help.

    1) For your header, your image needs to be 960px wide, not 920px.

    2) For your footer, open your child theme’s style.css and around line 1486 change the width to 960px.

I assume by “full width” you mean the width of your inner div. If you mean full width as in the width of your browser viewport, that is more tweaking.
