    Hey Everyone,

    I’m trying to use Post Formats with Streamline, but can’t get it to work. My site is http://www.alphamalefts.com for reference.

    I’ve added the following code to functions.php…

    //* Add support for post formats
    add_theme_support( ‘post-formats’, array(
    ‘image’,
    ‘link’,
    ‘quote’,
    ‘status’,
    ‘video’
    ) );

    I’m able to choose the post format in the post editor, but the posts are still standard on my front page. I’m sure I need to add more code somewhere, but am not entirely sure where or what to add.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi,
    I’m thinking you’ll need to do this, which is the next step:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Post_Formats#Adding_Post_Type_Support

    BUT… as far as I know, even if you do all that, you’ll need to write more code to take advantage of this, essentially to “template” these. Otherwise, they’ll still look like regular Posts, I’d reckon. No automagic new look on these. If I were looking to do this, I would find themes that already have lots of code supporting Post Formats, and cadge some of it. They can be found in the WP repository, and I’m sure there are tuts around for Post Formats. But it’s not really a Genesis question, frankly.

    That’s my take.

    Good luck, Dave
