We don't enable shotcodes in widget areas by default in our themes.
Again, there are plugins that will let you run any shortcode in a text widget on any theme.
Where did you put the shortcode? In a widget area?
WordPress will not execute shortcodes in a widget area by default. They removed that functionality and it's now in a plugin.

I mean reply to the email Rebecca sent. That is the ticket you filed.
We did get your new tickets, all of them. The Accounts person will handle it when she gets in.
Please reply to the original ticket you filed and tell them you cannot get in to the account. That;s the only way we can help.
I was only alterted to this thread by the other poster. We do not monitor these forums.
You no longer need to use Genesis Connect with Buddypress unless you are on Buddypress 1.7 or before.

Make sure there are no spaces or capital letters in the theme folder name.
For that part, it isn't really Genesis specific at all.

You can skip changing the name in functions.php if you want. Al you need to do is change the folder name and the name at the top of style.css.
The responsive slider sorts in descending order, no matter what else you pick.
Change the setting to by date and then change the dates on the pages to the order you want.
Putting the page IDs in the field will not sort in the oder you type them in.
You can also to the same to the plugins folder, call it plugins-old and that will tell you if it was a plugin.
80% of the issues we see that suddenly crop up are plugin related.
We've seen some issues in help desk where the layout was broken in Chrome on Windows but not on a Mac. It took two of us to figure out but essentially the sites were hacked. We did confirm it was a hack and not an issue with the theme.
Also, we haven;t yet confirmed it, but it may have been related to this:
which also saw a rise yesterday.
