Can you provide a link to your website so I can take a look?

AnitaKeymasterI see. I think in there IDX example they need to remove the Quick Search. That is confusing since that only applies to manually inserted homes. And the same goes with the sidebar information. I will send in a ticket to SP to let them know that so they can possibly make an adjustment to that page.
Thank you for pointing that out because I never noticed it.

AnitaKeymasterYou can certainly try that. But all of your images in your slider are different sizes both height and width. So that's why some have white space and others do not. Your featured image must be at LEAST the same height and width or LARGER of the slider in order for them to appear correctly.

AnitaKeymasterI see where you're at. I have used the SP products for a long time and have been using the forums (both old and new for a long time). I personally haven't seen where a potential customer has been confused by "integration" because prior to the new forum, there was a better set of instructions and detail on setting up the AgentPress theme. Here are the instructions you get now - http://my.studiopress.com/setup/agentpress-theme/. They also provide instruction on IDX Integration here - http://demo.studiopress.com/agentpress/idx-integration.
I think you're issue can be best summed up is that neither one of these pieces of information are provided to you until you have purchased the theme. It's not that you are being misled in anyway - just that the "how it works" and the "how to's" are not easily explained prior to you purchasing AgentPress.

AnitaKeymasterYou too. If you have any questions or need help, start a new thread and be sure to add the URL of your site and what theme you are using.

AnitaKeymasterI would actually start with Minimum theme and use Carrie Dils instructions on removing the static image and placing the Genesis Responsive Slider in there full width. You could then remove the grid from the front leaving only the footer. Use that as a starting point.

AnitaKeymasterHi Rey, you can use help for things that don't work out the box or errors. For assistance with customizing your theme, plugins, ideas, tips, tricks - use the forum. Next to the download of your theme was "Get Started" when clicked it takes you here - http://my.studiopress.com/setup/executive-theme/. The instructions are there along with how to get the slider.

AnitaKeymasterI think what they mean by integration is exactly what this developer did with their website. They didn't use the Agentpress plugin, nor the Agentpress theme. They used Education and "integrated" the IDX features into it. I think people have different interpretations of what the word "integrate" means. To me it means being able to successfully use two products together without error. In this case, that's what they've done.

They've used the IDX Search box over the slider. When you click the Search, the result rendered inside the actual website - embedded on the page which to me means... they have integrated the two products together.

I would think that this one site would have another plugin that is conflicting with the one your turned off. I would try turning that one on and others off because it just doesn't sound right.

AnitaKeymasterYou're welcome. I'll close this now.

AnitaKeymasterOkay, I am using the default color scheme. I removed the responsive code below the line indicated. Now when the site shows up on my Android or I reduce the size of the browser, only half the page is there. When you scroll right it's blank white space.

AnitaKeymasterThanks @weslinda, I'll give it a try and let you know if it works.

AnitaKeymasterYou're using the Agency theme.
The left and right border is controlled by this code:
#home-slider { background-color: #FFFFFF; border-radius: 5px 5px 5px 5px; box-shadow: 0 1px 2px #999999; margin: 0 0 20px; width: 100%; }
The top and bottom is controlled by CSS in the plugin itself. Copy and paste this at the bottom of your Style.css file, change the colors and see if it works.
#genesis-responsive-slider { background-color: #000000!important; border: 10px solid #EEEEEE!important; margin: 0 auto; padding: 10px; position: relative; }

AnitaKeymasterMaybe try it this way - use the Meta snippets instead of the Simple Edits - http://my.studiopress.com/snippets/post-meta/.

AnitaKeymaster@rockstar - go to Genesis > Genesis Settings. Scroll down to the bottom and you see two boxes - one for Header and one for Footer. You can place your code in the header box.

AnitaKeymasterOne more suggestion - you should ask your host if they "automatically" update the plugins when they need it or it they will appear in your dashboard for you to manually update them. The reason is because if you make changes inside your plugins and they automatically update for you - they could overwrite your custom code.

AnitaKeymaster@katootje, I used this plugin called Translate This Button and it works great for my client - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/translate-this-button/screenshots/.

AnitaKeymasterSunil, you could still do this - look at one of your plugins - one that didn't come standard with your WP install. Go to the plugin on WP Plugins and see what version they have up there - then look at the version you have. Just go and check a few of the plugins on the plugin repository to see if they have a more current version available. If so, that's an indication that something is wrong. Since you stated that you moved to CloudFlare - I would consult with them about how information comes through to your site from outside their server.

AnitaKeymasterOpen up Home.php and look for this:
// Remove the navigation menus remove_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'genesis_do_nav' ); remove_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'genesis_do_subnav' );
On the first line - change "remove" to add" which will add the Primary Navigation. If you want the secondary - change the second like from "remove" to add.
You can then style them as you like.
