    Yes, you would drag a Featured Page widget to the Home Top and configure that widget. Then below it drag over a Featured Post widget. In that one set the number of posts you would like to show up. Right now if I click on the middle navigation, I am clicking categories and they return zero – nothing. Add some posts in there and then they will show up.

    @vinniepage, you are using the 411 theme. Check your Style sheet to see if you have this code:

    .archive-description, .author-box, .breadcrumb {
        background-color: #FFFFFF;
        box-shadow: 10px 10px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2);
        margin-bottom: 40px;
        padding: 7% 8%;
    }

    I don’t see it there with Firebug. If you do not have it – add it to the style sheet.

    @CoolangattaDev, your code in the style sheet would look like this:

    .taxonomy-description p {
        font-size: 14px;
        padding: 15px 15px 0;
    }

    You can use the .taxonomy-description to add more to it.

    Add the background color to these two codes:

    example:

    background: #YOUR_HTML_COLOR;

    .footer-widgets-1,
    .footer-widgets-3 {
    width: 350px;
    border: 2px solid #000000;
    -moz-border-radius: 10px;
    -khtml-border-radius: 10px;
    -webkit-border-radius: 10px;
    border-radius: 10px;
    padding: 20px 20px 20px;
    padding: 2rem 2rem 2rem;
    }

    .footer-widgets-2 {
    width: 360px;
    border: 2px solid #000000;
    -moz-border-radius: 10px;
    -khtml-border-radius: 10px;
    -webkit-border-radius: 10px;
    border-radius: 10px;
    padding: 20px 20px 20px;
    padding: 2rem 2rem 2rem;
    }

    This is what is calling the 1024 x 1024 image. You are using the full width layout. The image CSS is this:

    img.size-full {
        max-width: 97.5%;
        width: auto;
    }

    What size do you want them to be when in Full Size mode?

    I really don’t understand why you don’t see it. You placed the code in your theme, I see it there now.

    margin: 0 5px;

    … is showing up there. You should clear the cache and your browser cache.

    It looks like the original code I gave you worked, at least on my end in Firefox.

    You should only change it where I indicated. If you have any caching plugins activated – clear the cache.

    Look for this in your style sheet:

    .site-container

    change the margin to this:

    margin: 0 5px;

    That is a third party plugin developed by Ron Rennick. You should probably post this question on the support page located here.

    Jennifer wrote a great blog post on how she handled page speeds here. Take a look. Studiopress also has a blog here about page speed also.
