I’m adding additional comentary here because I am still having problems with this issue but I’ve found out what has been happening.
Essentially, the cache plugins I have been using (quick cache lite) was interfereing with the blog’s RSS feed which in turn meant that it would prevent the blog post from showing up on the blog posts page. As soon as I DELETED it and updated the most recent post, not only did the post show up on the blog posts page, my social media accounts were updated with the goo.gl/fb yrl shortner. There had been a delay of 9 hours because of this.
When I published a post last Friday, the feed did not update for 24 hours which is why I’ve spent time getting to the bottom of this.
I’ve now reinstalled WP Super Cache and am due to publish another post this week so I’ll see how long the feed takes to update and report back here.
no worries I’ve managed to locate where in the stylesheet it needed tweaking
Basically need the nav bar to lineup like this: http://sharesandstockmarkets.com/
If removing line 2265 will do the trick could you advise how I could do that?
Nevermind, I’ve managed to get authorship working by adding it in the settings > sharing and connecting my G+ profile.
The pain is finally over.
did that and still nothing, its been weeks now not sure what else to do
OK this thread can be closed I’ve found the solution: in Genesis > theme settings I’ve unticked the ‘by default remove titles in the page post type’. Silly.
To be honest I’ve got bits of code from this forum from all sorts of issues that I’ve had with Genesis.
It’s in my user profile in wordpress so I don’t understand why it doesn’t show up either
Thanks Sridhar, worked a treatAugust 28, 2013 at 3:31 pm in reply to: Genesis 2.0.0 + bbPress = broken forum home and topic-tag.. #59329
Hey Anand did you manage to fix this as I also have this issue?
OK so I deactivated and deleted W3 total cache and installed quick cache and everything works fine so far
It should be listed on your plugins page
True but I’m still experimenting with it to see how it performs. If it still gives me problems a week from now it’s history.
I was also going to delete W3 Total Cache until I purged the blog post page which seems to have done the trick. I can’t help thinking that all of the pages need to be cleared in this way also although I haven’t checked.
For anyone who is interested the only way around this issue is to go back through all of the posts and insert an image with the new content width settings. Massive time suck.
