Just looking your site, it looks like you got it fixed correctly.
If you didn't, feel free to drop me a private message.

Maybe another option would be to pre-date it to a date that wouldn't be considered a recent post.
That's what I would think about doing. You could also set the post as Private, but that didn't sound like an option.

http://www.grafixcatmedia.comtejonesMemberIt is currently on this selector: .entry,
.page.page-template-page_blog-php .entryIt needs to be around .page. (whatever your category template is) .entry. This will specify it to only about around the entry in the category template.
Right now it is going around every entry that is being produced in your theme including regular pages and your home page.
See if that works.

http://www.grafixcatmedia.comtejonesMemberYou might take the front page idea from Enterprise Pro and utilize it in your theme.
That is the set up that it uses. Feature area at the top, three widgets below. See how it is structured and maybe you can make your custom front page from that.

http://www.grafixcatmedia.comDecember 11, 2014 at 3:50 pm in reply to: Responsive Slider Slide Excerpt Format in Genesis Sample #134321tejonesMemberI'm guessing you are going to have to do you own selector, something like .slide-excerpt p to break the word wrap for the paragraph around the slide header (h2).
It's hard to say as the slider is too fast for me to do any work with the css in Chrome Inspector.
You might try slowing the slides down and do a trial run through the Chrome Inspector or even going with one slider while you work on the slide excerpt.

http://www.grafixcatmedia.comtejonesMemberThat sounds like the Outreach Pro theme. It does something like that. There is a Home Featured area with four widgets across. The background stretches the full width but the widgets are their own width.
You might start by taking a look at that theme by StudioPress: http://my.studiopress.com/themes/outreach/#demo-full

http://www.grafixcatmedia.comtejonesMemberVery good question. It seems to be a much talked about topic.
I'm not sure I have an answer but you might start here: http://css-tricks.com/fluid-width-equal-height-columns/.

http://www.grafixcatmedia.comtejonesMemberGo to Appearance > Header in your WordPress dashboard. From there you can upload your logo at 340 ?— 120 px. Click "Save Changes" and your good to go.

http://www.grafixcatmedia.comtejonesMemberIn the text widget, you should be able to add your embed code along with the add your headline/info/ReadMore below it in the code. You can use the Featured Post/Page Widget for that.
Then, go to your css and make sure it sits to the right of the Video embed. You will want to make the code for the video at least half the size of the top widget so that it can sit to the left.
Do you have a link to your site?

http://www.grafixcatmedia.comtejonesMembertejonesMemberDid you realize you can change the layout regarding the sidebars, etc., using the Genesis Theme Options in the dashboard? That might have been the best way to accomplish that.
This way, your footer and header should stay inside the main container.

http://www.grafixcatmedia.comtejonesMembertejonesMemberThis might be kind of late, but Carrie Dils wrote a blog post about doing business and talked about her "Hit By a bus" document. You can find it at the bottom the post here: http://www.carriedils.com/potential-client-hire/.
Good idea I believe.
Also, I like the idea of a succession plan.

http://www.grafixcatmedia.comtejonesMembertejonesMembertejonesMemberyeah, Buddpress. should be fun. I've played around with it, but never for anyone else or to live on a website. Learning as i go. Any tips are helpful 🙂
I like what you did with the Metro Theme to use for Agents. Good stuff!

http://www.grafixcatmedia.comtejonesMemberThat is awesome! You rock.
I thought that could be done. Let me show you what I am working on now.

Btw, that background on the Metro theme has some kind of stretch thing going on. How did you fix that?

http://www.grafixcatmedia.comtejonesMemberYou could try that. The other option would be to create a second featured widget to place to the right, configure your css to the different sizes. That would be a possibility, but I would give it a try the first way you mentioned. Yes, you would have to use columns in the html.
That is my 2 cents. You might try asking Brad Dalton or Carrie Dils also and get their opinion. They are moderators in the forum and awesome with the Genesis stuff.
However, you have my interest. I might play around with and see if it would work. That would be pretty cool for sure.
I would think though, that would be one way or simply building two widgets that you can make responsive might be the best option. The advantage here would be that you could make those widgets stack when the size of the screen is reduced like Copyblogger's does.

http://www.grafixcatmedia.comtejonesMemberThanks for the compliment!
That slider is used via a widget, so yes you could do that. What you would do is get your embed code from Youtube or Vimeo or wherever, and paste it into a text widget and drop the widget into slot for the slider. It should work. I would test in a testing environment. You might want to customize the video embed code to fit the slider area, or modify the CSS to create some styling around the video.
That is the beauty of the home page widget areas that the Genesis Framework child themes have. You can actually use them for something else. Usually the text widget can help with that. That is actually what I am doing with the three below the slider. They were designed originally for Featured Post or Page widgets, but I used html code in the text widget.
fun!
Let us know if you need any help. Man, the support in here rocks!
