Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorServer 500 errors are the hardest to diagnose because there are literally hundreds of reasons for them. The most common problem is a PHP error. You have to check the server error logs for further details. This is not likely related to the Genesis Framework.
Either open a ticket with Bluehost to get help or you may have to consider hiring a dev to help with this issue.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorEverything in Genesis is moving over to the customizer. In Eleven 40, the logo is identified as the Header Image.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorUse your browser's inspection tool and look at the HTML. The very first line will tell you if they're HTML or not.
If they are XHTML, the upgrade to the Genesis Framework isn't even offered.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorI suggest opening up a ticket with Studio Press support. This isn't an issue that can be diagnosed from just looking at the front end.
In the meantime, look at the PHP error longs on your server. They may provide some useful insights.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorCan't help you with 3rd-party plugins that have nothing to do with the Genesis Framework or your child theme.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorYou didn't mention what child theme you're using. It makes a difference because in most theme's site-inner does stretch to 100% width and the narrower portion is content. Please post a link to the site so we can see the CSS and advise you accordingly.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorThere is no native PHP function to convert integers to Roman numerals. To do what you want, you would have to create your own function and shortcode.
The copyright shortcode supplied by the Genesis Framework can be found in the Genesis /lib/shortcodes/footer.php file. I would copy and rename that shortcode and modify it to call a Roman numeral conversion function that you'd have to write. You can learn how to write such a function here:

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorIf those are XHTML sites, they won't work with Genesis 3.x. The new version only supports HTML5 themes.
Also, if you were able to update and the CSS disappeared, it's possible the child theme is loading the parent Genesis theme. There is no longer a style sheet provided with Genesis.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorThe Genesis updates have been going well. There were some issues with the first 3.0 release but they've been resolved.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorLook for this CSS in style-front.css and remove the border:
.image-section .widget-wrap::before { border-top-width: 0; border-bottom-color: #fff; top: -20px; } .image-section .widget-wrap::after { border-bottom-width: 0; border-top-color: #fff; bottom: -20px; }

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorIf you use your browser's built-in inspection tool, you can see the HTML and CSS and copy the CSS to use on your own site.
The developer added two text widgets to front-page-1 and the used display: flex in the CSS to display the text widgets side-by-side.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorThe blog template was never part of the child theme. Up until the release of Genesis 3.0, it had been included in the Genesis Framework. The Genesis developers removed all templates from the framework.
Take a look at this article for further details: https://studiopress.blog/genesis-3-0-beta/

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorThanks Zachary, but I can't help you if it requires access to the back end of a site. Everyone that answers questions on this site is a community volunteer with no affiliation to Studio Press.
I don't mind answering questions at all if it's something I can see from the front end or have an understanding of through my own experiences. Beyond that though, I only provide support for my paid clients. As another professional developer, I hope you understand.
