    thanks for this advice re clearing I seem to get the same thing happening occasionally and can never remember how to fix it…. now favourited so I can find it more easily!

    Hi I had the same problem displaying an image header. Thanks to this forum post I was able to add a logo to the
    http://www.chiropractorswarwick.co.uk site :-) However I also had to add to the css telling it to not repeat and to center the image as it was displaying right over on the left hand side.

    #header {
    background: #818184 url(/wp-content/themes/outreach/images/header.jpg) center no-repeat;

    I also had the text title displaying through the background image so I had to tell the title div to display none.

    Update! I have found a plugin that works! WP News Ticker I have linked to it in the WPO depository. It was quite simple to add Genesis using Simple Hooks, I added it after the header.

    Hi I also wanted to remove the posts from the bottom of the home page and followed instructions above. However  it removed the images from my featured widget section (where it brings in the featured images for the four featured pages) is there any way to bring them back?
