I have Genesis framework theme and Genesis sample child theme.
I see a way to make the framework theme 3-column (primary sidebar-content-sidebar),
but I don't know how to modify the child theme so I have 3 columns throughout my blog.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Layout can also be applied to the individual page, via the layout setting in the editor (be sure Layout Settings are enabled under Screen Options at the top of the editor page).

There are 6 built into Genesis and you can use code to enable them on any page.

Still strugeling with the sidebar - content sidebar
Installed Genesis and sample theme
Removed “// Removes site layouts.” In functions.php
Removed “// Removes secondary sidebar.” In functions.php
Put some content in secondary sidebar
Select Default Layout sidebar - content - sidebar
But than the sidebar drops below content.
Any sugestions?
Kind regards, Jan

Looks like there isn't any CSS for the secondary sidebar layouts so you would need to add it.
Here's the only CSS i can see which relates to the content and sidebar elements for the layouts in the new Genesis Sample child theme.
media only screen and (min-width: 960px) { /* Content --------------------------------------------- */ .content { float: left; width: 65%; } .sidebar-content .content { float: right; } .full-width-content .content, .landing-page .content { float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; } /* Sidebar --------------------------------------------- */ .sidebar { float: right; width: 30%; } .sidebar-content .sidebar { float: left; } }
You could use CSS Grid for this https://www.w3schools.com/css/css_grid.asp
