Hello, I'm new on this forum. Let me introduce myself to you. My name is Ulco. I am a 43 years old man, I live in The Netherlands. Recently I started creating my website in Studiopress. If you have any questions feel free to ask me! ))
I hope you can help me with my problem. Recently I purchased the Digital Pro Theme. I downloaded the Digital Pro Theme, Genenis Frame work and Sample to my computer en started building my website. I thought this was okay. But I got a message ‘the Child Theme was not present. But I didn’t know how to fix this. I also noticed myself that the website I was working on didn’t reasemble the example webite of the Digital Pro Theme.
I got some help:
1. Julia Sydnor working at Rainmaker Digital Support (see email below) was so friendly to assist me
Hi Ulco,
Thanks for sending the document with screenshots.
Could you please send us login details for your site? We can then log in and check the Digital Pro theme for you.
Regards,
Julia Sydnor

My question to you is. Is this reliable to answer het request and send het the login details? Is this a normal procedure? I’m a bit anxious just to send this confidential information by email ….But perhaps I’m exaggerating now…
2. If you advice me not to send her this information I hope someone else can help me solving my problem. I got stuck and cannot continue working on my dream now….
Again thank you very much for helping me.

When you first install a child theme, it will never look like the demo because you have to create content and set it up first. Follow your theme's setup instructions. http://my.studiopress.com/documentation/digital-pro-theme/

Have you requested your free website audit yet?February 22, 2017 at 8:09 am #201758Funky GrafixParticipantThis all looks a bit fishy to me
The domain in question is a couple of years old, is a holding page and isn't built with WordPress or the theme you mentioned
Something doesn't add up with your copied message from Julia either....
Could a Mod check it out?

February 24, 2017 at 7:32 am #201884UlcoMemberHello FG,
What does the word 'fishy' mean? Can you be a bit more specific? As I taold in my revious email I have purchased the Digital Pro Theme. I downloaded (installed ) the Digital Pro Theme, Genensis Frame work and Sample to my computer en started building my website.
What do you mean by 'Something doesn't add up with your copied message from Julia either....' This is just a copy of the email this moderator send to help me....
My question is pretty clear (Ithink) 'Is this reliable to answer het request and send het the login details? Is this a normal procedure? I’m a bit anxious just to send this confidential information by email ….'
Can you please help me with this question. I then perhaps van ask Julia for assistance
Thanks, Ulco
