Problem with 'News Pro' theme

I'm new to website design and have just bought the 'News Pro' child theme. Currently I'm struggling to get my site looking like the demo page (after installing the sample data.)
One problem I'm currently having is not being able to view the info shown on the walkthrough page below:

https://my.studiopress.com/documentation/news-pro-theme/home-page-setup/home-middle-right-widget-area/

When I click on the 'Home - Middle Right' widget (after installing it) all I can change is the header text, and there is a box below that for Visual or Text code. So my question is, how do I view all the extra settings info shown on that walkthrough page?

Ok found out what I needed to do - just drag in the 'Genesis- Featured Posts' widget.
