Great, you can download the PDF too 🙂 . I've marked this resolved.

AnitaKeymasterWidgetized home pages do not utilize pagination. You are using the Featured Posts widget. It looks like you have that set to all posts as well. So you wouldn't be able to get pagination there.

AnitaKeymasterI use Responsinator a lot (https://responsinator.com) for responsive testing and it works fine just to give you a visual off the different breakpoints.
Daily Dish's breakpoint is at 959. You can see it in the stylesheet under Media Queries:
@media only screen and (max-width: 959px)
As Victor stated, the breakpoints depend on the designer and how they've created the theme, so another themes' breakpoint may not be at 959.
Also, if you were to customize your theme or add in a few plugins, you may notice that they may not appear visually correct at breakpoint 959. At that point, you may need to add additional CSS to a media query to fix it or you may need to create a new media query just for that element that doesn't look right.

AnitaKeymasterSo using Smart Passive Income, it looks like you'd need to put it after the navigation. You can use this blog I wrote for adding a new full width widget area. It would probably drop in right after the Nav. Then customize the CSS to match your theme. Because your theme has a front-page.php, you may need to customize that it you want the email sign up to be display below Front-Page-1.

AnitaKeymasterI hope you've made a backup first and download to your had drive. My process is to unzip the new folder on the desktop, then open up the files and perform a file comparison. See what new files may have been added to Pro. More than likely, you will need to update your stylesheet with any custom changes you made in the original theme. It's not as cut-and-dry as just removing one theme and adding another, especially if you've made considerable changes.

AnitaKeymasterI am not on Facebook anymore. If you log in, search for the Genesis WordPress group and also WordPress by itself. There are several WordPress groups.

AnitaKeymasterAt first glance it reminded me of a really old Genesis theme called Quattro. That's not available anymore. But looking at what's there, it could be recreated with quite a number of child themes and a few plugins.

April 3, 2019 at 2:02 pm in reply to: Remove the #text "by" from .entry-author in post byline #490470AnitaKeymasterThe byline is in the Entry Header. If you view the snippet you will see it there.
...have the post date on a different line than post author.
You do that with the snippet. And remove the word "by."

AnitaKeymasterI would probably post this question the WordPress FB group or possibly the Genesis FB group. There aren't a lot of people who come here so I don't think you'll get a lot of feedback on this, but you would in one of the groups.

AnitaKeymasterGenesis has SEO built in, but if you want something more robust, then you can search the WordPress plugin repository for SEO plugins. There are quite a number out there so do the research to see which one best serves your needs.

AnitaKeymasterMarcy has a tutorial on how to do this. Google is great. Most things you want to do can be found somewhere on a tutorial.

You can use the plugin Genesis Simple Edits or customize the entry header with this snippet - https://my.studiopress.com/documentation/snippets/entry-header-html5/customize-the-entry-header/.

AnitaKeymasterYou can certainly do it however you want. I am not sure where you got the code from. You are providing the HTML output of what may be a code in the functions drawing off the "logo" configuration. I can't tell because you didn't give the URL to the website where you got that code.
If you want to leave your site exactly the way it is and use header right, you can use this tutorial Susan did for adding a widget area to the Primary Nav. Just change out out the code to header right. Then add your image to that widget. You'll need to tweak the CSS for whatever image you want to add there.

AnitaKeymasterGeekflare's image and nav is in the Header. The theme is Authority Pro also by StudioPress. The top nav bar in Magazine is the Primary Navigation. The Header is where you see the theme name and the Nav is in the Header Right Widget area.
You'd need to totally re-work Magazine to function like that. If you have the Pro Pack of StudioPress themes, you can use the code from Authority to re-work it.

AnitaKeymasterWhat theme are you using? You are referring to two totally separate areas - Header and Nav. So we'd need to see the theme in order to assist you.
