Hi @sslavin the new Magazine Pro in your my.studiopress.com download area has been created with blocks. The older version has widgets.

AnitaKeymasterThe latest version of Authority Pro is using blocks. So you can replace the image block with a slider block.

AnitaKeymasterIf you use your Dev Tools in the Browser you can find that. But to answer your question, it's
1,600px ?— 420px (scaled to 1,306px ?— 343px)
.

March 13, 2020 at 5:10 pm in reply to: Comments Form & Comment Link in Post Meta Not Appearing For New Sites #497332AnitaKeymaster@easyartweb I split this off into your own thread as the other one was too old. Please provide a link to your website and also what theme are you using?

AnitaKeymasterOh, check your code! I had an extra semi-color (;;) at the end of important. You only need one of those. I fixed it above.

AnitaKeymasterAnitaKeymaster@fattony69 okay. The id numbers are large. I normally see them as lower numbers.
From this StudioPress tutorial:
To exclude a specific category, add a minus symbol (in other words, a dash) in front of the category ID parameter in the value field as described below.
* In the Name field, enter or select query_args.
* In the Value field, enter cat=all. All posts from all categories will be displayed on the page.
* Click Add Custom Field to preserve your settings. And normally, you do not include the spaces after the comma (i.e., 1,2,3)
You also have a semicolon in your code which should probably be a comma.
;category__not_in=2
Maybe take all of that out of there completely and only include the items you do not want to have displayed.

March 12, 2020 at 4:01 pm in reply to: How Do I prevent the date of my blog post from showing up in search results? #497301AnitaKeymasterOkay so let's go back to the beginning. You said you wanted to remove the date without a plugin. If you have Yoast installed, there is a setting in Yoast to remove the date. I don't understand what the issue is then? Remove it inside Yoast, remove the code from functions and you should be fine. Why won't you just use the setting in Yoast? There's probably a conflict since Yoast is active and Google sees it's active.

March 12, 2020 at 11:06 am in reply to: Current Header not appearing, though it's set in the customizer #497300AnitaKeymasterYes, I think so. The who coding structure in HTML5 is different than XHTML.

AnitaKeymaster@fattony69 those look like the Page ID numbers and not the Category ID numbers.

AnitaKeymasterThey do not offer XHTML themes in the StudioPress theme store and no one is creating themes with XHTML.
What theme are you using? Where is the website? The link you provided in your first post is to a site using News Pro which is fine.
Using your version of News Pro, you should be able to update Genesis.

March 11, 2020 at 7:11 pm in reply to: Current Header not appearing, though it's set in the customizer #497280AnitaKeymasterInnov8tive is a really old XHTML theme so you may not be able to get that to work with 3.0. I know from my previous time working with that theme, logos needed to be added manually via the stylesheet.

March 11, 2020 at 3:57 pm in reply to: How Do I prevent the date of my blog post from showing up in search results? #497278AnitaKeymaster@maz using CSS to hide the date doesn't hide it from the source - view-source:https://www.mazzastick.com/nlp-hero-free-download/. It's only hiding it on the front end for your visitors.

AnitaKeymaster@danielleB I have a snippet that works for excluding from the drop down. Add this to the functions.php file and change the numbers to the ones you want to exclude.

March 10, 2020 at 6:18 pm in reply to: How Do I prevent the date of my blog post from showing up in search results? #497253AnitaKeymasterYou really need an SEO plugin for this type of coding. Anything else will remove the date from the posts on the front end, which I assume you want to keep.

AnitaKeymasterOn the Genesis Changelog for 3.0 Release of June 19, 2019 under "Removed", you will see that they "Removed support for all non-html5 output". As such, if you are using an XHTML theme, you will no longer receive Genesis Framework updates. Your version will remain pre-3.0.
This was also noted in their blog of May 30, 2019 - https://studiopress.blog/genesis-3-0-beta/.
If you haven't signed up for the newsletter, you may want to do that.
So you will be "stuck" at the last version prior to 3.0 and there are a lot of plugins that will require Genesis 3.0 to continue working.
