Somewhere in a custom.css file is this code that is hiding the icons.
.site-header .simple-social-icons { display: none; }
I see the custom.css in a file folder under the client name/css/custom.css.

AnitaKeymasterYou will need to check the code you are using as it's blocking the JS files needed for the menu.

AnitaKeymaster@ravenmaniac this really isn't the best place to ask that. I'd go to a WordPress Facebook group to ask this type of question. I'll close this thread.

AnitaKeymasterHi @marci, your theme is not eligible to be upgraded to the latest Genesis. They stopped support for XHTML themes at 3.0. This also means that if you are using Genesis Simple Edits, you will no longer be able to use that plugin unless you downgrade it but I wouldn't suggest doing that. It's best for you to update your website as it's pretty old (Prose theme) and outdated. I am actually working with a client now who has Prose and moving them to a more up-to-date theme.
See Genesis Changelog here and the Blog about the updates here.

AnitaKeymasterAdd featured images to those. Follow the instructions in the theme docs under my.studiopress.com for the theme.

September 11, 2019 at 1:33 pm in reply to: Horizontal Scroll Menu for Sample Theme in Mobile #493509AnitaKeymaster@SEOThemes has that effect in his Newspaper Pro theme. It's using something called Flickity and would require custom coding. I don't know of anything that's built into any plugins.

September 11, 2019 at 1:28 pm in reply to: Simple social icons not displaying in right header #493508AnitaKeymasterHi Laura, the site needs a password. But check the social icons widget to see what colors the fonts are set at.

AnitaKeymasterThat will change everything site wide. It's best to read over their product information before you make your purchase. If you have more questions on that, reach out to them.

AnitaKeymasterYou could probably benefit from Design Palette Pro which is made for StudioPress/Genesis themes. It can do both of these things plus a lot more. Excellent product and you do not need to code up anything.

AnitaKeymasterYou should determine which fonts you want for all of your titles, h1, h2, h3, etc., and then for your body. Replace the font family for each of those areas.

AnitaKeymasterIf you hover over the Genesis tab, you should see Genesis Simple Edits. You need to hover it. Also, you can now update the credits with the newest version of Genesis. It's the Footer tab now under the Genesis tab in the customizer.

September 9, 2019 at 9:30 am in reply to: Widget area for home page and mobile responsiveness #493474AnitaKeymasterThe only thing I can see maybe doing that's not a lot of work would be to create another widget area below the home image that only shows up on mobile. You could "hide" the text widget over top of the image on smaller devices and let that hidden widget show up. It would be hidden on desktop. You can do with Widget Options but you need to create the new widget area.

September 9, 2019 at 9:08 am in reply to: Widget area for home page and mobile responsiveness #493472AnitaKeymasterThe home page is not driven by blocks, but by widgets. So the containers are a mute point for this. You need CSS for the widget. If the home page was built with blocks then what they suggested in Facebook would have been an option.

AnitaKeymasterThe Genesis Framework is your theme engine. They are no longer supporting upgrades for XHTML themes, only HTML5 themes and responsive design. In the Changelog from June 2019 you'll see this line "Removed support for all non-html5 output." Any XHTML child theme will no longer receive the Genesis update notification as the updates will not work with XHTML child themes. So you will be "stuck" at the last version prior to 3.0.

AnitaKeymasterTry this and if that doesn't seem to fit, you might want to perform a Google search.

AnitaKeymasterWhere exactly did you see product promotions? I clicked that pop up at least 25 times updating sites and I got the change log. See screen shot - https://pasteboard.co/Iwevr1Y.png. That's what I've been getting all along. I also get the changelog link after I update and click the Change link.

AnitaKeymasterLooks like you were able to resolve this on your own. I'll close it.
