Thanks Gary. I learned that they are in the process of updating the (in)spyr theme to HTML5 and this should take care of the errors.
John FoleyMemberHello Gary, Thank you very much for your reply! This is very helpful. I am a novice but a quick learner. It makes sense that the big collection of errors was coming from the Featured Posts. I removed this widget which reduced the collection of errors down to only a few. May be due to another widget? I'll have to play with it. Thank you.
My research on this topic also led me to believe that somehow my published microformat was off. I assume this is built into the child theme I'm using. I'm running the latest Genesis. Interestingly, I just discovered that the AuthorSure plugin "FootNote setting" has a rich snippets function that handled the post date error. I don't like the idea of using plugins if I don't have to but I'm satisfied for the time being 🙂
Thanks again Gary! Have a great day.
Regards,

John FoleyMemberHi everyone, does anybody know if the (in)spyr theme is already HTML5 enabled? I viewed the source code off demo and I'm currently using theme as well. Appears that it may be but I’m a novice and not certain.
First line is: <!DOCTYPE html><html>
Thanks for your help!
John Foley
