MarcParticipant
You are very welcome!
MarcParticipantYes, there is.
The theme is loading a gradient overlay to darken the header hero image, this makes the text for titles and navigation standout. When you remove the darkening gradient you may need to adjust the overlay text. Depending, of course on the nature of your hero image.
This is the inline code that loads and creates the hero-header image and dark overlay in the demo -
.header-hero {
background-image: linear-gradient(0deg, rgba(0,0,0,0.5) 50%, rgba(0,0,0,0.85) 100%), url(https://demo.studiopress.com/essence/wp-content/themes/essence-pro/images/hero-bg.jpg);
}With that in mind here is the quickest way to remove the header hero gradient overlay -
From your Admin go to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS
And paste the code above into the CSS box as it is edited below to remove the dark overlay. Of course you will need to modify the image URL to your installation's resource location -
.header-hero {
url(https://demo.studiopress.com/essence/wp-content/themes/essence-pro/images/hero-bg.jpg);
}
MarcParticipantYou are most welcome!
MarcParticipantI believe you are referring to the Intro paragraph styling setting or option. If that is correct it is very easy to turn off or on with just a check box!
Below is the link to do so. It also includes information for using the styling in just selected text locations.https://my.studiopress.com/documentation/essence-pro-theme/extras/intro-paragraph-style/
MarcParticipantIt is in a widget. From the theme setup instructions -
Footer 4
The Footer 4 widget area contains 1 Simple Social Icons widget and 1 Text widget with the following content:

MarcParticipantHi Lee,
Yes, your Support follow-ups this morning got the issue resolved. I appreciate it! THANK YOU!
and importantly - Great theme!
MarcParticipantThanks Victor, but that is a level of escalation I am hoping to avoid ... if possible.
(I bothered Brian enough a few months ago.)

Have you tried clearing your mobile browser's cache?
MarcParticipantBelow is some CSS I sorted out for the IDXBroker Quick Search for use in a similar Genesis theme, it will likley need adjustment/tuning -

July 30, 2014 at 4:06 pm in reply to: How to move menu under header image with Going Green Child Theme #116381MarcParticipantOnce again to Brad Dalton - your answer is probably here -
http://wpsites.net/wordpress-tips/move-genesis-nav-menu-before-or-after-header/
MarcParticipantMarcParticipantBrad Dalton has a bunch of function snippets related to nav bar display or not. One of them may be just what you need or easily modified to your purpose -

July 30, 2014 at 3:02 pm in reply to: Where is font size set on Education Pro Home-Top widget? #116376MarcParticipantAround line 1389 in the css look for this section -
.home-top .widget_text {
color: #78a7c8;
font-size: 48px;
line-height: 1.1;
text-align: center;
}And change the font-size to your preferred px.
MarcParticipantMarcParticipantThere are a number of plugins in the repository that work well to provide that feature. Take a look through and see what you like.
http://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=iframehttp://wordpress.org/plugins/iframe-preserver/
MarcParticipantMarcParticipantMarcParticipantYou are correct. The section of your style.css that needs the change begins about line 1258.
Unfortunately there is another css (pagespeed) that is replacing it.
Turn off any cache and or page accelerators, Dreamhost sometimes has these on almost by default.
