Sorry Susan...one more question on this topic. I signed up for MailChimp and I don't see an answer for what to put in the "form action" box on the Genesis eNews Extended. I only see info on adding the MailChimp List Subscribe Form plugin.
MargeryMemberThank you! I'll check it out.
MargeryMemberCan you tell me what "form action" means on this widget? Is that something that becomes obvious when I sign up with MailChimp or one of the others? And finally, is it a waste to sign up with one of these when I have WishList member?
Thank you, Susan.
MargeryMemberI realized that the words I'm still seeing relate to my wishlist member plug-in, not a Genesis issue. I don't suppose you know a way around them?
MargeryMemberYay! Success! I followed the video and was able to add the links into the footer that I wanted.
One strange thing, however...I decided to also take the video's suggestion and add my company to the copyright info rather than wordpress/studiopress. No luck. Is there a magic genie that prevents this?
MargeryMemberWhere is the "footer field"? Do I have to look in the style editor? And when you say "post draft" you mean a post, not a page? I'm so sorry!
To be more specific, what I'm trying to include on the site is a link for a disclaimer, so it's a good one page document.
MargeryMemberThanks, Brad. I'm a newbie. What do I do once it's installed? I need to link a page to the footer area, but I don't want it to stand out. So, how do I use the plug-in?
MargeryMemberThank you everyone! I've got it. The ninja video totally helped. If I need a more complex form, I might shift to Gravity with the poll add-on, but for now this one is great.
MargeryMemberHi Robin,
Thank you for answering. I'm really confused. As it happens, before I wrote this post, I downloaded the Ninja Forms plugin, but I don't know how to customize it or find a specific form. (You mention form 7.) It says that there's a way to upload your own form, but I'm not sure what format that has to be written in. Do you know more about Ninja Forms?
