Hi sssv,
One last thing I failed to mention. The reason why my website images weren't being indexed by Google is Squarespace stores them on a separate server. When an image is uploaded they create several size images for different page layouts, and mobile devices. Those images are then stored on their server and the url's do not have your/my main included. So there was no way Google could properly index them as part of my website thus the reason why my images weren't getting discovered.

http://painthog.compainthogMemberHi sssv,
I decided the move my main website back to wordpress because none of my images were getting listed on Google. Since I'm a visual artist I had to reconsider having my blog and portfolio platform. I switched to squarespace from WP because they offered a great ecommerce solution and took care of all the SSL certificates. I also loved their clean and elegant themes and took care of all the updates.
I knew wordpress would get my images and page rank back to where it was before I switched to Squarespace. Organic views were at 200-275 hits a day before I moved to squarespace. That number dropped to 25-30 visits in a very short time. Since I sell my art strictly online I couldn't afford that drop in numbers.
In just a few months I'm already seeing a 300 percent increase in organic hits since moving back to WP. Although I love the Squarespace platform and it's far more enjoyable and intuitive than WP, I have to say it was the right move for my business model.
That being said I created a sub domain for my shop and that still is hosted at Squarespace. I can't find anything out there that shows the products better than their themes, certainly not Woocommerce. But my workhorse is back to WP since I feel that has the best results for getting my work in front of new prospective collectors.
Hope that helps.

http://painthog.compainthogMemberHi Allie49,
I appreciate your feedback and thanks for having a look.
You make a great point. I should have the STORE link go directly to a products page and not another HOME page. That's a great idea. On it!
Thanks again
Cheers
