Almost! 🙂 Works on my desktop when I shrink my browser window, it also works on my iPhone - but on my iPad the first widget pushes way over to the right, and the next two widgets sit to the left beneath it leaving a big empty white space above them. Is that a padding issue maybe?
Tim SquiresMemberHi Robin, thanks, but I can't get that one to work. I added the rule under the media queries section - is that the right place? (Still getting the tiny images in mobile view)
Tim SquiresMemberHi Robin, thanks so much - that's great. I used the #portfolio .textwidget which looks great on my desktop. Only problem is that on the mobile version the new text widget images shrink way down in size. Any ideas on how to stop that from happening? 🙂 Many thanks.
Tim SquiresMemberHi, I've found the solution to my problem. I was able to adjust the level at which the nav items on the right lined up by adjusting the padding value in the code below:
.header-image #header,
.header-image #title-area {
padding: 0;
}Thanks everyone, hope that may help someone else 🙂
Tim SquiresMemberHi, I have a similar problem with the nav menu on the right not lining up with the header art that I have made.
The header was made at the recommended size of 1152x120 and the artwork is set to the left (it's a variation of the original design for modern Portfolio)
But when I upload the header, the total header area shrinks a little, and the nav menu on the right no longer lines up with the center of the header.
I tried adding the code that Megan suggested with no luck.
I'd be grateful if anyone has any suggestions.
Thanks 🙂

Tim SquiresMemberHi Brian - terrific! I was a little unsure of where you meant me to place it the code, I added it in and it seems to work (I hope that it's in the right place, but it seems OK - see below) Thanks very much for your help 🙂
/*
14 Media Queries
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *//* Desktops, laptops and iPads (landscape) ----------- */
@media only screen and (max-width: 1024px) {.wrap,
#inner {
max-width: 960px;
}}
/*--below code added in to correct image size issue when resizing on mobiles--*/
#portfolio img {
height: auto;
}
Tim SquiresMemberHi everyone, I'm still struggling with this - any help would be much appreciated! 🙂 Tim
Tim SquiresMemberSorry - that's strange, my link seems to be dropping out of my message for some reason. I'll try it without link tags - can you copy and paste into your browser?

Many thanks 🙂
Tim SquiresMemberIt's OK - I've worked it out. Not sure if this is text book practice but it seems to have worked. Many thanks, Tim

I added the code that you suggested and by adjusting the values was able to achieve the effect that I needed. I wanted a band across the footer area to the anchor the page and provide some weight at the bottom. Your advice is very much appreciated - thanks again.

Tim SquiresMemberOh, and I used the same settings as in the set up instructions to get the size of the slider the same as the demo site. I hope that helps.
Tim SquiresMemberHi Sunil, I think that you need to make your slider deeper by adjusting the settings.Try that and see if it helps. Thanks for your compliments - let me know how it goes. Tim
March 2, 2013 at 6:51 pm in reply to: Just want one footer widget in Agent theme, but dont know how #23833Tim SquiresMemberThanks bandj, another forum member suggested that also and I gave it a try. It partially worked - I managed to adjust the width to 100%, and was then able to bring the footer widgets back into a centered position, but the space between the footer widgets was uneven. Also, I couldn't get the header, slider or other content areas to re-align to the center. Maybe I need to work back through it again to see what I'm doing wrong. But I also wondered if it is possible to create another background image - similar to the one behind the welcome area - and have that behind the footer widget area. That way I wouldn't have to adjust the div wraps, but I'm not sure if that method is possible. Many thanks for your advice - I'll keep trying 🙂
Tim SquiresMemberHi ToniB, thanks very much for your tips. I really appreciate it. I'll work through your examples and see how I go. I also need the footer centered, so it look sas though I have some tinkering to do. I am using Firebug, but still struggling with certain things in its use/operation. Many thanks again - it certainly helps.

I would like the footer widget area of this site to go full screen width in the same way that the band behind the welcome area/slider does.Many thanks for any tips, Tim

Tim SquiresMemberHi trbdesign, I also need to make a full width footer in Agency, but do not know which code snippet that you are referring to, some I'm stuck at step 1. I noticed that you seem to have succeeded with your footer - would be grateful for a brief step-through of exactly how you achieved this 🙂
Many thanks,
Tim
