Hello - I decided to go ahead and buy the framework and pro pack and just unzipped the Expose theme but it looks nothing like the demo - so I went to the tutorial which only shows to change the blog post per page to 9 instead of the default 10 - then says to change the code in the footer widget. However my page is just a header and a spot where the first post would be published - no drop down boxes, links at the top or anthing ( Do I drag the "pages" widet to the "header right" area and the same with "custom menu" ? Also when I looked for the footer widget to "change" - there aren't any footer widgets shown on the left but shows footer 1-3 areas on the right to drag to? How do I find it and modify it ? I'm worried about dragging things around and having things activate and waste another whole day trying to figure out how to undo it. I assumed when I bought the themes that I'd just have to customize what shows by checking a box, change colors, and add content - etc - didn't realise I would spend all day redirecting domains, uplaoding to a new host account, and trying to figure out each theme - frustrating for somone new to this. Still haven't made a single blog post =(
May as well ask my next question while here - how do I remove the links at the bottom that go to wordpress and studiopress or at least change to an affilliate link?
Any help appreciated - aug !!!!!

To modify the footer links, you can use the codes found here - http://my.studiopress.com/snippets/footer/ or you can install the Genesis Simple Edits plugin found here - http://www.studiopress.com/plugins/simple-edits.

Install the Genesis Simple Edits plugin and remove the shortcodes to remove footer links or add this code to the end of your child themes functions.php file:

Sometimes It's better to walk away and come back when you can relax and focus again. I thought the one page turorial shown next to the link where you download the child theme was all that was available for info - but now see that there's a tutorial that shows peole how to add the demo sites content and then modify if the basic layout is why you wanted the theme to start with.
For some new with this - it's tough to wrap you head around needing to upload the WP 3.5, then Genesis, then the child theme - and how changing things relate - so when they started talking about modifying php and widgets - you're lost.
Thanks again.
