sorry for opening a new thread about the minimum theme but I think I have to because it’s a different thing I want to know about. Really love the Social Circles in the Minimum Theme. But I want to replace them with own images.
How can I do that?
In the themefolder I saw the social icons are on one transparent image. I want to replace it with four own images. Each one has to link to another page. So I have to upload four images (I think I will use theme as circles as well)
What do I have to change?http://
You can put your 4 custom images on one sprite using a generator but the code will need to be exactly the same as whats in the style sheet under home-featured.
I thinks its easiest to use a generator where you can simply drag your images onto the same size transparent background as whats used in your theme images folder. No need to use the code, just focus on the sprite and replace it.
276px – So as long as each image is equal to or less then 138 pix it should work.
Ah, okay. I am using Gimp to cut the images in an elliptical form. So these four images can be use with the image generator to get them transparent and to make them in one image. After this I can replace the icon.png. It has to be 276×276. Am I right?
And what size do the icons (= my images) need to be without loosing appearance?
I think if you keep the sprite like the default it should work.
I did use a sprite image generator where i just dragged the icons onto a pad and it created the sprite.
Don’t see why you couldn’t create it using other methods like Gimp or Paint.net
I don’t know. I am a newbie with gimp. Before I found out how to cut images it takes several days.
I will try what you said and see how it works.
I just figure it out.
Thanks for help!
I use Paint.net so can’t help you with GIMP but does the sprite work? Link to it please.
