Capture (and Keep) Attention with the Centric Pro Theme

Brian Gardner on February 25, 2014

Bounce. Close. Ignore.

That’s what visitors do when your design cannot capture attention — and keep it.

The Centric Pro theme for Genesis was designed to do both. It draws your readers in, then leads them down the page.

All you have to do is provide the message.

How does it work?

The hued minimalism above-the-fold acts like skywriting on a clear spring day.

The backdrop of blue (or one of six other colors) provides a vast expanse of lush color on which your brand’s most essential message can be written. Your eyes are drawn in just like they are to letters written the sky.

That’s how attention is captured. It is kept and compelled down the page with guided scrolling and a parallax-like feel, plus giant imagery and bold typography.

Centric is the antidote for the short attention spans.

Plus, Centric will respond to whatever device it’s being viewed from. You have neither the time nor the money to be developing separate sites for desktop and mobile users. You want one theme that does both, and Centric — like all of our themes built on Genesis 2.0 — does both.

In addition, Centric has:

  • 7 color styles
  • 3 page layouts
  • 4 page templates
  • HTML5 markup
  • Built-in SEO
  • Custom widgets

And so much more … including translation-readiness and button styles.

Check out the Centric Pro demo for yourself here.
